Just FYI... Fire Station Recipes

I'm adding a category for fire station recipes. These are some of the most commonly requested ones when I'm talking about our menus with friends. Firemen are notoriously good cooks. Why not eat well if you get the chance, right? They have come up with some pretty great ideas and I know my cooking repertoire is way better because they are willing to share those ideas!

On the lookout

So one of my favorite Christmas gifts this year was a fondue set and fondue plates. We have fallen in love with the Melting Pot restaurant so I wanted to try duplicating it. Or at least as close as I can get; I'm sure we'll still go there because you can't beat it if you like that kind of stuff.

So I'm looking for fondue recipes. The fondue pot that I have should be able to make most anything, whether it be cheese, an oil or broth to cook meat, or chocolate. Please email me any suggestions you have at twoandthreebees at gmail dot com.

Also, I would have no objection to someone else posting their recipes on this blog. Email me for further if you're interested in that, too.

My Recipe Box

I'm getting to the point that I have too many recipes banked in my family's blog. I had to do something. Plus it would be nice to have them in a searchable format, so here we go.

I am truly an unpampered chef. I have really only been developing my cooking skills for the last five years or so. I love to bake most of all, but my small family doesn't really need all the treats I'm capable of whipping out. I'm trying to expand. This summer, grilling has become my new outlet. I haven't done enough of it that I'm comfortable "winging" it yet, but we'll get there eventually. In my husband's words "It isn't that hard."

So thanks for visiting. If you are interested in posting recipes here, you can email me at twoandthreebees@gmail.com. I would love to have more unpampered chefs join me!
