Whoa - planning?

Don't die of shock. I planned a menu. We've noticed this is much more budget friendly. Now if I can just get off my lazy trash and do it....

BBQ Spare Ribs w/ grilled parmesan ranch potatoes (I need to post the recipe)
Grilled salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf
Shredded Beef Chimichangas and.... some sort of side dish to be determined
Omelets and hashbrowns
BLT sandwiches with potato chips and fruit
Chicken Spaghetti with green salad

I'm trying to keep it basic and easy since it's supposed to stay fairly hot outside. I hate cooking in the summer time if I can avoid it. As I used to do, I've gone through the grocery store ads and determined what kind of meat was on sale before I started finding recipes. Happy cooking?

Hey, look! The slacker planned something!

I haven't done a two-week menu for a while. It's starting to show in our diet, and in the many trips to the grocery store required. That gets old quick. So I've got a menu plan and grocery list all ready to go; someone had to save us from the slump we've been in for the last few weeks.

Crockpot Chicken Parmesan (I'll post the recipe if it's good) with green salad
Broiled Pork Chops and Honey Roasted Red Potatoes
Minestrone Soup with french bread
Steak fajitas with homemade guacamole
Ham and Cheese Calzones (from my healthy cookbook, recipe forthcoming)
Pepperoni Pizza Pitas (with this pita bread)
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and Late Night Breadsticks (using this dressing, with modification suggested in the reviews. Anchovy paste is too weird of an ingredient for me to waste money on.)

Mexican Pasta Skillet with green salad

Treats: fresh fruit with dip (I need to post that recipe, too!)
5 Ingredient Chocolate Chunk Blondies

To-do list

Bean and cheese burritos (with these refried beans), green salad
Pepperoni pizza pita sandwiches (with homemade pita bread)
Layered Macaroni and Cheese, salad
French Dip sandwiches, fruit kabobs with dip
BLT burritos
Frogmore Stew (we change this recipe a little, I will have to post it with the changes)
Hamburgers and hot dogs, french fries
Fire station-style chicken thighs and grilled veggies
Apple and Orange Chicken , green salad

Snacks: Granola Bars
Treats: S'mores, dutch oven peach cobbler, snickerdoodles

Menu planning fun

Grilled Spicy Garlic Shrimp Kabobs, green salad
Shredded Beef Chimichangas, black beans
Sesame Soy chicken, grilled veggies
Barbecued Ribs, potato salad, fruit with dip
Spaghetti Carbonara, green salad
Jambalaya
Grilled cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries
Chicken quesadillas with Cafe Rio Rice
Baked Chicken Nugget Spaghetti, green salad

Treat: Raspberry Peach Cobbler (I'm using strawberries instead of raspberries), ice cream
