1 can (14 oz.) chicken broth
1 jar (12 oz.) turkey gravy
1/2 C. sour cream
2 1/2 C. egg noodles
1/2 C. carrots, sliced (2 medium)
1/2 C. frozen sweet peas
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
2 C. turkey breast, cooked and diced
- In a large skillet, combine broth and gravy. Heat over medium heat until combined and starting to boil. Add sour cream and mix thoroughly.
-Add noodles, carrots, peas, pepper, and paprika; stir and allow to come back to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes.
-Add turkey breast. Simmer 5 more minutes or until noodles and vegetables are tender.
Notes: If you don't have quite enough gravy, you can offset it with a little extra broth. I basically just throw in what I have without paying much attention and it comes together. We recently tried it with chopped up broccoli instead of peas and it worked really well.
